My client is seeking a CNC Manufacturing Engineer with strong expertise in MasterCAM to support custom metal fabrication projects. This role focuses on programming, process optimization, and ensuring high-quality, efficient production in a fast-paced shop environment.

Description

This role will report directly into the Director of Engineering and be responsible for:

• CNC programming with MasterCAM, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications to develop accurate machining programs
• Partner with machinists and fabricators to support efficient production workflows
• Verify finished parts meet specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Support routine machine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting as needed
• Work with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements and drive efficiency

Profile

The successful candidate will have

• CNC programming knowledge
• MasterCAM familiarity a plus
• Welding, machining, quality control, and project management skills
• Ability to work well with a team
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• AISC or MASS DOT knowledge a plus
