Superintendent- Healthcare Construction
We are seeking a driven and experienced Superintendent to oversee day-to-day operations on VA Hospital construction projects in Fort Lauderdale. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction leader who excels at managing job sites, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Description
Manage all on-site construction activities for VA hospital projects from start to finish
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and VA construction standards
Maintain detailed daily reports, manage schedules, and ensure deadlines are met
Oversee site safety, enforce company policies, and lead weekly safety meetings
Interpret and work directly from construction drawings, plans, and specifications
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets high standards and contract requirements
Profile
Minimum 3 years of construction experience, preferably with healthcare or federal projects
Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
Proven leadership and organizational skills on active construction sites
Solid understanding of safety protocols and OSHA requirements
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Prior experience with VA or federal work is highly desirable
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
