My client is a global leader in manufacturing aerospace engine components, providing essential solutions to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the aerospace industry. Renowned for excellence, innovation, and reliability, the company partners with leading engine manufacturers to drive advancements in aerospace technology and performance.
Description

Strategic Leadership and Growth:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to drive revenue, margin growth, and market share expansion.
- Align business development objectives with company goals and OEM requirements.
- Lead sales forecasting and performance analysis to meet financial targets.

Team Leadership and Development:
- Manage a high-performing team of five Sales Directors, ensuring guidance, mentorship, and professional growth.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-centric culture across the sales organization.
- Partner with site-level General Managers to drive successful capture efforts.
- Establish consistent, profitable pricing and proposal strategies.

OEM Account Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary contact for senior-level OEM customer engagements, building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Handle escalations for complex negotiations, positioning the company as a trusted, solution-driven partner.

Proposal and Contract Oversight:
- Oversee the development of proposals, contracts, and commercial terms, ensuring alignment with technical capabilities, manufacturing capacity, and financial objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Engineering, Operations, and Finance to support competitive and profitable bids.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure customer expectations are met.

Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide executive leadership with updates on market changes and customer requirements.
- Work with the M&A team to maintain a pipeline of potential acquisition targets.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in aerospace engine business development, including 5+ years managing OEM accounts and leading teams.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex customer relationships at the executive level.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the aerospace industry, OEM requirements, and relevant regulations.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with experience in financial modeling and market analysis.
- Willingness to travel globally to support customer relationships and team efforts.
