Assistant Project Manager
The Assistant Project Manager will work alongside both the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager on Educational/K12 projects learning different aspects of the job and how our project managers maintain such strong client relationships. After learning the ropes of the company and working on a project with the Project Manager, the Assisstant Project Manager will be able to be promoted from within and run his own projects.

Our client is a General Contractor that specializes in new construction and renovation projects with a diverse educational, commercial, and private projects- primarily K-12. They have a deep backlog of projects for the next several years and are looking for a assistant project manager to grow with the team.
Description
- Works in collaboration with Project Manager to oversee operational, personnel and financial aspects of the construction project
- Facilitate project administration
- Participate in preconstruction activities
- Manage document control
- Track project costs
- Assist with daily on-site problem solving
- Assist in coordinating weekly client, architect, contractor construction meetings including minutes of meetings and other necessary documentation
Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry
- Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant degree
- Proficiency with computer software used in the construction industry
- Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial to success
