IT Project Manager (Mandarin Speaking)

The IT Project Manager will oversee and drive technology initiatives within the financial services industry, ensuring successful project delivery. This temporary role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management and technology. This role is on-site 5x a week and W2 only. No visa sponsorship available.

Description

• Lead and manage technology projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align project goals with organizational objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Prepare and present regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and best practices in project management.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to promote a cohesive working environment.
• Utilize project management tools and software to track progress and maintain documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Technology department.

Profile

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, at least 1 years of experience in Banking and/or IT project management

2.Understanding of at least one banking business domain (e.g., payments, custody, treasury/markets, trade finance, AML/compliance, etc.)

3.Familiar with banking IT application project management lifecycle and processes, including project initiation/approval, requirements management, SDLC phases, deliverables control, UAT coordination, implementation/go-live, and project closure

4. Proficient in project management and relevant tools, such as MS Office, Project and Visio

6. Bachelor's degree and above

7. Bilingual abilities in English and Chinese preferred

8. Knowledge and experience of banking regulatory authorities' requirements such as FFIEC, OCC etc.

9. Knowledge and experience of anti-money-laundering
