Senior Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Programming

- Develop and refine CNC machining processes for precision aerospace components.
- Lead process planning, tooling concepts, fixturing design, and cycle‑time improvements.
- Support new product introduction through routings, work instructions, and production readiness activities.
- Create and optimize CNC programs for 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑axis mills and lathes using modern CAM tools.
- Troubleshoot machining issues involving tooling, materials, machine performance, and process variation.
- Support FAI, PRR, GD&T interpretation, and inspection readiness.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cost, and throughput.
- Mentor engineers, programmers, and machinists while partnering closely with quality, design, and operations.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within aerospace machining.
- Advanced CNC programming experience across multi‑axis machining platforms.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, tooling strategies, and precision machining best practices.
- Skilled in GD&T and familiar with AS9100 or other aerospace quality systems.
- Preferred: NADCAP exposure, experience with complex tight‑tolerance parts, or lean/continuous improvement certifications.
