Description
The Project Manager - Multi-family Construction - Silver Spring, MD will be responsible for:
- Managing the overall execution and successful completion of large-scale multifamily new construction and renovation projects.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Fostering strong relationships with clients, owners, architects, and internal teams.
- Organizing, implementing, and completing projects to meet client expectations.
- Overseeing project plans from preconstruction through completion.
- Establishing checklists for inspections and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinating with field personnel to enforce quality control standards.
- Participating in weekly subcontractor meetings with the Project Superintendent.
- Overseeing subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Tracking and managing all potential change orders.
- Leading, mentoring, and developing project team members to support their professional growth.
- Administering work inspections to ensure quality and performance standards are met
Profile
The Project Manager - Multi-family Construction - Silver Spring, MD will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Background in General Contracting or Builder-Developer roles.
- Proven tenure with current and past employers.
- Track record of successfully managing large-scale multifamily projects from inception to completion.
- Experience overseeing projects valued at $20M or more.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Strong leadership and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore and Bluebeam is a plus.
