Business Immigration Associate
Opportunity to join an international boutique law firm's Business Immigration Practice, working on a diverse writing intensive caseload.
Client Details
This is a well-established interntaional boutique law firm with a top-tier business immigration practice.
Description
The Associate Attorney will join an established, fast-paced practice and will be responsible for the following:
- Draft, prepare and file nonimmigrant visas (E-2, H-1B, L-1A/B Blanket and individual, and TN as well as employment-based green cards (PERM, EB-1(C) mostly).
- Advise clients on business immigration processes and compliance requirements.
- Draft legal documents and review case files for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct legal research on immigration laws and policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely submission of applications and petitions.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy to provide informed guidance.

Profile
A successful Business Immigration Associate should have:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- US State Bar Admission.
- 3+ years of comprehensive, high-voume experience with nonimmigrant visas (E-2, H-1B, L-1A/B Blanket and individual, and TN as well as employment-based green cards (PERM, EB-1(C) mostly).
- Strong experience with E-2 is highly preferred.
- Must have excellent case writing and preparation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to handle a high volume of cases at any given time.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
