Description
Sales Leadership & Regional Strategy
- Lead and develop a high‑performing sales team across the Northeast, setting clear goals, coaching talent, and driving accountability for revenue and profit objectives.
- Build and execute a regional commercial strategy that accelerates growth within the Personal Care portfolio, including skin care, hair care, and related product categories.
- Oversee full P&L responsibility for the region's Personal Care business, ensuring disciplined forecasting, margin management, and performance tracking.
Key Account & Business Development
- Strengthen relationships with strategic customers, including contract manufacturers, brand owners, and R&D groups.
- Identify new opportunities across emerging beauty trends, novel actives, and evolving formulation needs in the Personal Care market.
- Support the team in managing complex sales cycles, technical discussions, project tracking, and commercial negotiations.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with internal technical, regulatory, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on customer expectations and commercial priorities.
- Support new product introductions, sampling programs, innovation roadshows, and customer formulation sessions.
- Collaborate with global category and sourcing teams to help shape regional product strategy and supplier engagement.

Profile
A successful Director of Sales - Personal Care should have:
- Proven success in sales leadership within specialty ingredients, raw materials, or Personal Care-related markets.
- Experience managing teams, setting targets, and driving measurable commercial outcomes.
- Strong understanding of the Personal Care/Beauty industry, including ingredient trends, formulation requirements, and customer decision cycles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the Northeast region.
- Valid U.S. work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior P&L ownership or experience with financial accountability for a product category or region.
- Existing relationships with Personal Care formulators, contract manufacturers, and brand development teams.
- Experience within a global organization supporting cross‑regional collaboration.
