Settlement/Corporate Actions Processing Consultant

This role involves handling securities settlement processing, including trade matching, reconciliation, corporate actions, and client communication. Description

• Process Trade Matching & Settlement: Ensure accurate and timely trade execution by verifying and matching transactions while coordinating with internal teams and external counterparties.
• Manage Corporate Actions: Monitor and process corporate events such as dividends, stock splits, and mergers, ensuring correct execution and communication with relevant parties.
• Perform Reconciliations: Review and resolve discrepancies in transaction records, ensuring alignment between internal systems, client accounts, and external financial institutions.
• Handle Client Communication: Respond to inquiries, provide updates on trade settlements, and address any issues related to securities transactions.
• Prepare Client Reports: Compile and deliver detailed reports on trade activity, account balances, and other key financial data to meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Support Team Projects & Daily Operations: Assist in process improvements, participate in system upgrades, and provide backup support to team members as needed.

Profile

- Atleast one year of Financial Services Industry Experience

- Experience processing Security Settlements and Corporate Actions

- Bachelor's Degree Preferred

- Experience with Microsoft Excel and other Office products

- Ability to collaborate well with others

- Ability to work on multiple tasks at once
