Superintendent - Multifamily Projects in Central CT
We're seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a large wood-framed multifamily project in Connecticut. This is a key leadership role managing multiple supers and ensuring successful delivery of high-profile projects.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established, family-owned general contractor that has grown into one of New England's premier builders over the past 15+ years. They specialize in multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, hotels, and academic projects, with a diversified backlog that includes life sciences and tenant improvement work. Large enough to offer stability and resources, yet small enough to maintain a collaborative culture.
Description
- Lead onsite operations for large-scale wood-framed multifamily projects
- Manage and mentor a team of 6-7+ superintendents
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes
- Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, and project milestones
- Oversee quality control and resolve field issues promptly
- Collaborate with project managers and PX to maintain budget and timelines
- Drive communication between stakeholders and maintain accurate reporting

Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience as Superintendent on multiple wood-framed multifamily projects ($30M+)
- Strong leadership skills managing large super teams
- OSHA certifications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel to project sites in Connecticut
