Superintendent
My client, a high-end commercial contractor in Indianapolis, is seeking Superintendent to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to stay local to Indy and work alongside a tight-knit company of like-minded individuals.

My client is a high-end commercial general contractor based in Indianapolis that also self-performs carpentry and concrete work. With over 50 years in business, they take on projects of all sizes, from churches and parks to historic restorations and retail, averaging $8-$12 million per project. They pride themselves on their strong work ethic and seek like-minded professionals who are driven, hardworking, and eager to make an impact.
Description
- Work on larger projects in the commercial space
- Walk the job site and check in with subcontractors
- Check and manage daily construction schedule
- Ensure the site is clean and safe
- Lead 'stretch inflexions'
- Supervise all field work
- Create and manage 3-6 week look-ahead schedule to plan upcoming tasks
- Coordinate with the project manager onsite
- Attend OAC meetings and lead client walk throughs
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Experience working on projects between $10-$20M
- Preconstruction planning experience is a plus
- Experience creating 3-6 week look ahead schedules
Job Offer
- Base salary: $70,000 - $90,000
- Strong bonus payouts (the low end being 20%, up to 50% of salary)
- Vehicle allowance (roughly $6,000 per year)
- Insurance coverage up to 100%, and 50% for dependents
- Immediately ready to hire
