Intellectual Property Associate

This role involves litigating complex intellectual property disputes in federal courts and ITC proceedings. You will work closely with experienced litigators on high-stakes matters for leading global clients across technology-driven industries.

Description

• Handle intellectual property litigation and disputes, including patent, trademark, and copyright cases.
• Provide strategic counseling and advice to clients on intellectual property matters.
• Draft and negotiate agreements related to intellectual property transactions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, briefs, and opinions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs effectively.
• Advise clients on IP portfolio management and enforcement strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in intellectual property law and industry trends.
• Represent clients in administrative proceedings and other related legal forums.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong experience in intellectual property law, including litigation and counseling.
• Proficiency in managing complex legal projects and cases.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Admission to the District of Columbia State Bar.
• A client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Job Offer
