Construction Superintendent

As a Commercial Superintendent, you will oversee the commercial aspects of various projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage a team of commercial staff and collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other key stakeholders to optimize project outcomes.

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Superintendent to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in commercial management, project execution, and team leadership to play a key role in our operations

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the commercial team, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Review and approve contracts, tenders, and subcontractor agreements.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, deliverables, and procurement processes.
  • Identify risks and provide solutions to mitigate them, ensuring projects stay within budget and on schedule.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Resolve any disputes or issues that arise during the course of a project

Profile



Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Superintendent, Project Manager, or similar role in the [specific industry].
  • Strong knowledge of commercial management practices, including contract management, cost estimation, and budgeting.
  • Experience managing a team and working with multidisciplinary groups.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in the field.
