Exciting opportunity to join a prestigious Investment Management firm as a Senior Legal Counsel.

Description

Role will report directly to the General Counsel and will handle the following:

• Drafting and negotiating contracts, side letters, non-disclosure and other legal agreements
• Reviewing marketing materials for regulatory compliance, handling a variety of other contracts as needed
• Advise on the structuring of fund formation, and related documentation
• Provide support in reference to compliance and regulatory filings
• Assist in managing outside counsel
• Handle other matters as they arise

Profile

• JD from top law school with excellent academic credentials and GPA
• Admitted to NY State Bar
• 5-8 years of experience within the Investment Management/Private Funds group of a top law firm combined with in-house experience at an investment manager
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player
