Description

  • Manage day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring schedules are met and projects are completed safely and efficiently.

  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Track project progress and address any delays or issues that arise.
  • Conduct site inspections, ensuring all work meets the company's standards and quality expectations.
  • Maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.

Profile

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a construction superintendent, with a focus on commercial projects, ideally in Brooklyn, NY.
  • Leadership: Strong ability to manage large teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned with project goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful in addressing challenges and resolving issues quickly to maintain project timelines and quality.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for ensuring all work meets high standards and compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Brooklyn's building codes, permits, and the specific demands of urban commercial construction.
