Description
The Assistant Super is responsible for:
- Working on-site daily at the Revere Beach project location
- Developing and maintaining relationships with all parties involved in project
- Identifying and recommending solutions for project risks
- Supervising hired trades, punch carpenters, and laborers
- Preparing punch lists and ensuring timely completion before inspections
- Inspecting subcontractor work for quality and contract compliance
- Assisting in creating and updating project schedules & ensuring tasks are completed on time
- Participating in and documenting weekly safety and subcontractor meetings
- Monitoring material ordering, delivery, and storage to align with project timelines
- Ensuring compliance with safety policies and maintaining a safe work environment
- Reviewing plans for errors and verifying dimensions and layouts for compliance
- Maintaining organized documentation and ensuring responses to third-party inspections and punch lists
- Collaborating with third-party consultants and inspectors as needed
Profile
The right Assistant Super will have:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering (or other related field)
- 3+ years of ast super experience ideally on multifamily projects
- Proficiency using a personal computer and company communication tools
- Experience in the use of project management and scheduling software (Procore and Textura)
- Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, construction procedures, and trade work
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
