Cleanroom Technology - Mechanical Design Engineer - Exeter, NH
The Mechanical Design Engineer will lead project design and analysis, producing detailed drawings and engineering documents. They will ensure that all designs meet customer specifications and requirements prior to production release.

Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop mechanical engineering components and systems for innovative products and custom solutions.
- Research and select components to fulfill system requirements effectively.
- Produce layout models and drawings for client approval.
- Generate fabrication and sub-assembly drawings for vendor quoting and purchasing.
- Assist in project management, manufacturing, assembly, and system testing efforts.
- Conduct FEA and engineering analyses, producing reports to validate design integrity.
- Create Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Review specifications to ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and requirements.
- Prepare, review, and finalize comprehensive drawing packages and documentation for release.
- Manage department-related non-conformances for projects.
- Guide draftsmen and designers in creating models and drawings for intricate projects.
- Develop testing and commissioning documentation for various projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Profile
Ideal Candidate:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in PTC Pro-E/Creo CAD software; other CAD experience is a plus.
- Familiar with PDMLink or similar CAD management tools.
- Knowledgeable in AWS standards for weld callouts.
- Experienced in creating models and drawings for industrial machinery.
- Background in gas handling equipment, HVAC machinery, or piping preferred.
- Understanding of pneumatic and electro-mechanical automation systems.
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
