Superintendent K-12 Construction
We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations on K-12 construction projects across the Fort Lauderdale area. This is an opportunity to join a respected general contractor with a strong presence in the educational sector, offering long-term career growth and stability.

Our client is a well-established general contractor with over 25 years of experience delivering public and private sector projects throughout South Florida. With a primary focus on K-12, municipal, and institutional work, the company prides itself on a collaborative culture, strong client relationships, and consistent repeat business from school districts and local government agencies.
Description
Serve as the on-site leader, managing all field operations from groundbreaking to project completion
Coordinate daily site activities, subcontractor scheduling, material deliveries, and quality assurance
Enforce jobsite safety protocols and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
Work closely with the Project Manager to maintain project timelines, budgets, and client communication
Conduct site walkthroughs, manage inspections, and generate daily progress reports
Proactively resolve field issues to minimize project delays or disruptions
Profile
7+ years of construction experience, with a minimum of 3 years as a Superintendent on K-12 or similar public sector projects
Strong understanding of school board processes, DSA or AHJ inspections, and phased occupied-campus construction
Proven ability to lead field teams and subcontractors while maintaining professionalism and accountability
Skilled in project documentation, scheduling (Microsoft Project or similar), and safety compliance (OSHA 30 preferred)
Excellent communication and organizational skills; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
Job Offer
Competitive base salary in the range of $110,000-$130,000, depending on experience
