Multifamily Project Manager - New Jersey
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multifamily construction projects across Northern New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the full project lifecycle while working for a reputable and growing construction management firm.
Client Details
Our client is a New Jersey-based construction management and general contracting firm with a strong focus on multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Known for their hands-on leadership, collaborative approach, and dedication to delivering high-quality buildings, they've earned repeat business from many prominent developers and owners in the region. With a growing pipeline of multifamily work, they are looking to add a proven Project Manager to their team.
Description
The Project Manager will:
- Lead all aspects of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Oversee subcontractor buyouts, contract negotiations, and change order management.
- Coordinate with developers, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure design and construction alignment.
- Direct project meetings, resolve field issues, and maintain safety and compliance standards.
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations
Profile
The successful Project Manager will have the following:
- 5-10 years of construction management experience, with proven success in multifamily or mixed-use projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar).
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage subcontractors and stakeholders effectively.
