Assistant Project Manager - New Jersey - Multifamily
We are seeking a driven Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale multifamily projects valued up to $100M across Northern New Jersey. Description
- Support the Project Manager in overseeing all phases of multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and design partners to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
- Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and ensure safety and quality standards are upheld.
- Foster strong client relationships and contribute to a team-oriented project environment
Profile
- 2+ years of construction management experience, preferably with wood-frame multifamily.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar.
- Motivated team player with a long-term interest in growing into a Project Manager role.
