Superintendent- Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial construction projects in Fort Lauderdale, with a strong preference for candidates who have successfully delivered K-12 school projects. This is a key leadership position overseeing all on-site construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Description

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on ground-up commercial projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to maintain smooth project execution.

• Implement and enforce safety standards and company policies across the jobsite.

• Manage project schedules, inspections, and quality control procedures.

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, and Architects to resolve challenges and maintain strong client relationships.

Profile

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of Superintendent experience in ground-up commercial construction, with a proven track record managing projects from site development through completion. Previous experience in the education sector (K-12 or higher education facilities) is highly preferred. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to drive projects to completion while maintaining quality and safety are essential.
