Job Summary:
The assistant estimator will work under the overall supervision of the estimator. Responsible for reviewing project documents and establishing pricing for all commercial projects in the greater Portland area.

Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To:
- Responsibilities Will Include But Not Be Limited To:
- Generates estimates & proposals for selected projects.
- Obtains bidders lists for projects that have been scoped & estimated.
- Works with Operations Manager & Engineering to form costs & labor costs on special projects.
- Actively pursues bid projects with timely follow up & awareness of project status.
- Assists walk-in customers with project & product inquiries.
Profile
Client Profile:
- Detail oriented with a positive attitude & eagerness to learn
- 2+ years of Estimating experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or equivalent experience
- Possesses strong written & verbal communications skills & manages time effectively
- Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Microsoft Project & Excel
