We are actively working with a growing Manufacturing client in their search to add a Quality Engineer to the team. The Quality Engineer ensures that products meet established quality standards and customer requirements. This role focuses on implementing quality control processes, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. Description
The Quality Engineer - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and industry regulations.
- Conduct inspections and audits of production processes to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans.
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to management.
- Utilize statistical tools (SPC, Six Sigma) to monitor process capability and reduce defects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance product quality and reduce waste.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Train production staff on quality standards and best practices.
- Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
- Work with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements.
- Participate in supplier audits and qualification processes.

Profile
The ideal Quality Engineer - Manufacturing should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ASQ standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and control plans.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
