CRM Manager/Administrator

The Manager, Membership & Development Operations plays a vital role in supporting and executing the overarching strategy of the Development department. This individual will lead CRM implementation, oversee data and systems management, support engagement and recruitment efforts, and ensure the effective fulfillment of member benefits.

Description



CRM Implementation & Membership Operations

  • Serve as department expert in CRM platforms (primarily Dynamics 365 and Universe); oversee functionality and staff training.
  • Recommend process improvements and generate analytical insights to support strategic goals.
  • Ensure CRM ecosystem is optimized for usability and accurate output.
  • Partner with departments to execute membership communications, including digital renewals, acknowledgments, and cards.
  • Lead Media Council event registration and member tracking processes.
  • Act as a social media ambassador by promoting organizational content and events within professional networks.


Development Operations & Gift Administration

  • Document and refine procedures around financial reconciliation, data entry, and donor/member communications.
  • Help meet annual revenue goals through direct engagement and solicitation of members.
  • Manage benefit fulfillment and build strong professional relationships with current and prospective members.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry of all member, gift, and donor records.
  • Lead execution of donor acknowledgments and annual donor reports.
  • Support cultivation strategies for both public and industry memberships.


Data Management & Hygiene

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date member and donor records in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to ensure clean data integrations across platforms.
  • Regularly reconcile records with Finance and maintain audit-ready documentation.

Analytics, Reporting & Strategic Insights

  • Generate key insights and actionable analytics to support member engagement and revenue growth.
  • Develop reports and dashboards to track progress toward fundraising and membership goals.
  • Provide standard and custom reports, mailing lists, and merge files for campaigns and events.
  • Communicate insights to internal stakeholders and leadership for strategic planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in membership, fundraising, or development operations (nonprofit preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Dynamics 365 (or comparable CRM) is essential.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated experience managing databases, data quality, and reporting workflows.
  • Experience managing acknowledgments, mail merges, pledge reminders, and campaign lists.
  • Ability to work occasional early mornings or evenings in support of events.
  • Strong team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish is a plus.
