Construction Estimator - South Jersey
Client Details
Our client is a long-established commercial construction firm based in Evesham, NJ, specializing in commercial, retail, medical, and industrial projects. Their work ranges from interior fit-outs to full-scale developments, with a strong current focus in the interiors and carpentry-driven space. They maintain a collaborative, close‑knit office culture and have built a reputation in the region for quality craftsmanship, reliability, and long-term client partnerships.Description
- Estimating: Set up new projects in Procore and assist with preconstruction workflow.
- Documentation: Process and track submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
- Schedule Management: Assist with scheduling, coordination, and communication between project stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Interface professionally with clients, subcontractors, and vendors via phone and email.
- Technological Support: Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and file drives with proficiency.
- Quality Control: Support overall office operations as needed to keep projects moving efficiently.
Profile
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong general computer navigation skills.
- Comfortable working on the phone with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.
- Prior construction office experience and familiarity with construction terminology is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with Procore is beneficial, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ideal for someone with a carpentry background or exposure to interior construction, though not mandatory.
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional who can learn quickly and take ownership of their role.
