Construction Estimator - South Jersey

We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Construction Estimator/Project Coordinator to support both the Estimating and Project Management departments within a well‑established commercial construction firm. This hybrid role combines project coordination, document control, and estimating responsibilities to ensure smooth project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Description

• Estimating: Set up new projects in Procore and assist with preconstruction workflow.

• Documentation: Process and track submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and project documentation.

• Schedule Management: Assist with scheduling, coordination, and communication between project stakeholders.

• Team Leadership: Interface professionally with clients, subcontractors, and vendors via phone and email.

• Technological Support: Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and file drives with proficiency.

• Quality Control: Support overall office operations as needed to keep projects moving efficiently.

Profile

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong general computer navigation skills.

• Comfortable working on the phone with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams.

• Prior construction office experience and familiarity with construction terminology is a plus, but not required.

• Experience with Procore is beneficial, though training will be provided for the right candidate.

• Ideal for someone with a carpentry background or exposure to interior construction, though not mandatory.

• A proactive, detail-oriented professional who can learn quickly and take ownership of their role.
