Payroll & Benefits Specialist | Harrison, NY
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Payroll & Benefits Specialist for our clients Harrison NY location, with a strong understanding of payroll and benefits processes.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established organization in the Real Estate sector. Their business is booming and the company is going through a huge growth period, so they're looking to grow out their HR team.
Description
- Manage and process company-wide bi-weekly payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
- Administer company benefits, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Help design and manage the internship program.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure correct employee data.
- Process accurate and timely quarterly reporting.
- Manage and resolve issues relating to payroll and employee benefits.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll and benefits queries.
- Participate in audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.

Profile
A successful 'Payroll & Benefits Specialist' should have:
- A strong understanding of payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience processing multi-state bi-weekly payroll.
- Proficiency in payroll software; ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of federal and state regulations affecting payroll.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
