R&D Engineer - Mechanical/Electrical - Nashua, NH
The R&D Engineer will use established engineering methods and practices to support research, design, development, manufacturing of specific components, processes, or products. You will assess and apply standard engineering principles, making improvements as needed.

Description
Reporting into the Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following:
- Develop and design test methods, technical processes, and specifications for complex components.
- Generate new concepts for product enhancements and product performance.
- Proactively engages cross-functional resources to address sophisticated engineering problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues, identifying product defects and the impact on results.
- Offer strategic input during data collection, ideation, and technical planning sessions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system specifications and user manuals.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during the development process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in control systems within the industrial and manufacturing industry.
Profile
A successful R&D Engineer should have:
- A degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with control systems in the industrial and manufacturing industry.
- Experience with PLC's and drives and HMI's.
- Experience with Analog and digital circuit design.
- Knowledge of mechanical design and equipment installation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
