Description
Financial Controller Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to ensure financial integrity.
- Manage budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels.
- Implement operational best practices.
- Support the board of directors in financial planning and results management.
Profile
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related industry
- Experience in a senior financial managerial position.
- 5+ years of experience in construction accounting, ideally with a general contractor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and a team-oriented mindset.
