Superintendent - Ground Up Construction

The Superintendent position in the construction industry is responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Description

• Supervise construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on site.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
• Ensure effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Oversee materials and equipment to ensure proper usage and minimize waste.
• Conduct regular site inspections and provide progress updates to management.

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• MA CSL is a requirement
• OSHA 10 or Greater is a requirement
• Ground up building experience is a requirement
• Public experience preffered
• Commercial experience preffered
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
• Proven ability to lead and manage construction teams effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
