Billing Coordinator
This candidate will support billing, collections, and time correction teams by managing overflow tasks related to attorney accounts and financial reporting. Key duties include producing and editing invoices, handling client account inquiries, submitting bills through e-billing systems, and assisting with administrative and process improvement tasks.

Our client is a prestigious American law firm headquartered in New York City, renowned for its expertise in corporate law, litigation, tax, and financial regulation.
Description
Generate prebills and ad-hoc reports as needed or on a scheduled basis (monthly, quarterly, or upon task completion)
Support the editing and finalization of draft invoices in alignment with attorney or coordinator instructions and client billing guidelines
Provide updated commentary on unbilled fees and aged account balances for assigned client matters
Collaborate and cross-train with team members to ensure coverage and effective handling of attorney and client inquiries
Assist in preparing and submitting invoices through third-party e-billing platforms, ensuring compliance with client requirements
Respond to incoming calls on the billing hotline, directing them to the appropriate personnel or taking messages when necessary
Perform administrative tasks such as retrieving electronic documents, including expense receipts and invoice copies
Participate in testing and documenting new procedures and systems related to client account billing

Qualifications and Skills
Strong aptitude for mathematics and analytical thinking
Proven ability to manage diverse tasks and meet tight deadlines
Dependable, punctual, and highly reliable
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other relevant software applications
Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrates professionalism and a positive attitude when working with attorneys and staff
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
Committed to maintaining strict confidentiality of firm and client information
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred
Minimum of three years' experience in a major law firm environment
Familiarity with Aderant Expert or equivalent accounting systems such as Elite or 3E
Working knowledge of various eBilling platforms, including but not limited to eHub, BillBlast, Tymetrix, Serengeti, Collaborati, CounselGo, CounselLink, and Passport
