Description

  • Lead and evolve the firm's national legal recruiting strategy, aligning with long-term business goals
  • Partner closely with firm leadership and practice group heads to identify and fulfill talent needs
  • Drive growth in key markets, particularly expanding the firm's presence
  • Evaluate and optimize the Summer Associate Program, including ROI and school selection strategy
  • Use data and analytics to inform decisions on headcount planning (e.g., summer associates, income partners, equity partners)
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and implement best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Oversee and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team
  • Leverage technology and recruitment tools to enhance efficiency and tracking
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on hiring trends, workforce planning, and market competitiveness

Profile

  • Willing to go on-site hybridly in D.C.
  • Proven leader in talent acquisition, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Minimum of 10 years of TA experience
  • Highly partner-facing, with the confidence and credibility to engage senior stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of market trends in legal recruiting
  • Analytical and data-driven; able to interpret recruiting metrics to inform strategy and drive decisions
  • Tech-savvy, with experience using ATS platforms and HR analytics tools
  • Passionate about innovation in recruiting and committed to continuous improvement
  • Skilled in leading teams and mentoring recruiting professionals
  • Brings a growth mindset, with a clear vision for building and scaling high-performing recruitment programs
