Construction Superintendent

This Construction Superintendent role offers the opportunity to oversee interior renovation projects ranging from $5M to $10M. The Construction Superintendent will ensure project delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Our client is a respected general contractor based in Queens, NY, specializing in interior renovation projects for schools (SCA) and other public and private agencies. With 40-50 employees, this firm emphasizes teamwork, professional growth, and delivering exceptional results for projects valued between $500K and $25M.

Description

• Manage daily on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain project timelines.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe work environment at all times.
• Conduct regular site inspections and address any quality control issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and logs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met.

Profile

• 3+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent overseeing $5M-$10M interior construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and maintain efficient schedules.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working on SCA, NYCHA, or public sector projects is a must.
