Legal FP&A Analyst

The Legal FP&A Analyst will play a key role in providing financial analysis and support to the Finance team. This position requires strong analytical skills and a keen understanding of financial planning and analysis processes.

Description

• Develop and maintain financial models to support legal department initiatives and decision-making.
• Analyze financial data and create detailed reports to provide insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial goals and strategies.
• Monitor and manage the legal department's budget, ensuring accurate forecasting and tracking.
• Prepare presentations for senior leadership to communicate key financial findings and strategies.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support the implementation of financial efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations within the legal department.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as needed.

Profile

A successful Legal FP&A Analyst should have:

• A strong background in financial planning and analysis at a law firm.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial insights effectively.
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred
