Manager Financial Accounting - Compensation

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager of Financial Accounting, focusing on compensation, for a leadership role in our Accounting & Finance Department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial processes and regulations, with a keen ability to drive and manage financial accounting functions.

Description

• Oversee all financial accounting operations related to compensation
• Perform and review monthly compensation calculations
• Responsible for monthly review of broker contracts
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
• Implement financial accounting systems for increased efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare and present financial accounting reports to senior management
• Work closely with internal teams to analyze and improve financial processes
• Perform periodic audits and lead resolution of any discrepancies
• Participate in the development of the department's strategic plans
• Manage and mentor a team of financial accounting professionals

Profile

A successful Manager of Financial Accounting should have:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of financial accounting practices and regulations
• 2+ years of supervisory experience within a compensation accounting capacity
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills
• An advanced degree in finance or related field
• Experience in managing financial accounting operations, particularly in compensation

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of $135,000 - $160,000
