Warehouse Coordinator
The Warehouse Coordinator will sit under the Director of Warehousing and will be responsible for maintaining day to day warehousing activities
Client Details
Client is a family owned corporate installation services company that provides services in project management, inventory & warehousing, corporate relocation, furniture distribution and installation
Description
- Serve as liaison between furniture dealerships, Project Managers, warehouse staff, 3PLs, and executives to ensure smooth coordination of inbound and outbound activity.
- Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, document scanning, email correspondence, and filing related to deliveries and inventory tracking.
- Confirm delivery schedules within our internal system and track incoming product status.
- Review, scan, and distribute packing slips and BOLs; input documentation into our warehouse management systems.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of receiving activity, including photographing product, identifying damages or discrepancies, and escalating to the appropriate parties.
- Supervise product receiving and quality control processes.
- Coordinate directly with teamsters and warehouse personnel for scheduling pulls, monitoring staging, and verifying deliveries.
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, suppliers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, product, and paperwork.
- Prepare routine status updates and operational.
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of warehouse activities.
Profile
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High volume data entry experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ability to learn platforms like Airtable, Smartsheet, SnapTracker, and Netsuite.
- Experience in commercial furniture and warehouse coordination preferred.
- Understanding of warehouse inventory is preferred.
- Experience using a warehouse management system (Netsuite) is preferred.
- Able to work overtime, including some weekday evenings or weekends, as needed.
- Team player who is dependable and willing to assist with broader operational needs.
THIS POSITION WILL BE ONSITE 5X A WEEK
