My client is seeking a well established Project Manager based out of Falls Church, VA. My Client is a highly respected construction company, operating across three key business units: Secure Projects, Regional Projects, and WorldBank Projects. With an annual revenue of $100M and growing, most projects range between $5M-$30M.

With annual revenues exceeding $100M, My Client operates across three key business units: Secure Projects (federal/government work for agencies such as the CIA and GSA), Regional Projects (municipality work for public schools and housing authorities), and WorldBank Projects. Notable clients include major federal agencies like the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security, as well as institutional clients such as airlines and quasi-public agencies like the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). Description
As a Project Manager, you will report directly to the Vice President and oversee projects valued up to $30M, focusing on HUD, aviation, government, and public commercial work. This role requires both technical and leadership skills, as you will manage subcontracted and self-performed work, while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will handle everything from estimating and contract negotiations to construction means and methods.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial and government projects up to $30M in value
- Manage subcontracted work and self-performed activities
- Estimate project costs, negotiate contracts, and manage client relationships
- Ensure safety compliance, including OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications
- Maintain detailed project documentation and lead progress meetings
- Work closely with field teams to deliver projects on time and within scope
Profile
My Client is seeking professionals that are able to offer everything below:
- B.S. in Engineering or Construction Management (or 12+ years of experience without a degree)
- 7+ years of experience with a commercial or industrial general contractor
- Expertise in construction means and methods for commercial or institutional projects
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and industry software
- 1-3 years of experience in government contracting (preferred)
- Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and USACE/NAVFAC CQC required
- Professional credentials like AC, CPC, or PE are a plus
