Supplier Quality Engineer | ISO 9001 | Independence, OH

The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring supplier compliance with ISO 9001 standards and driving quality improvements throughout the supply chain.
This role requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of quality processes, ideally in an ISO9001 certified environment.

Description

• Ensure supplier compliance with ISO9001 standards and company quality requirements.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate quality systems and processes.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Work closely with internal teams, including Engineering & Manufacturing, to address quality concerns.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to supplier quality performance.
• Support new product development by ensuring supplier quality standards are met

Profile

A successful Supplier Quality Engineer should have:

• Strong understanding of ISO9001 standards and supplier quality processes.
• Experience with Quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC
• ISO9001 experience
• Ability to analyze and interpret quality metrics effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for supplier interactions.
• Proficiency in report preparation and documentation.
• Problem-solving skills to address quality issues and implement solutions
