Internal Auditor
Support the internal audit function by executing Sarbanes-Oxley 404 testing, conducting operational and financial audits, and preparing audit documentation. Assist in identifying business risks, drafting findings, and contributing to the development of audit programs while supporting special projects and ensuring follow-through on audit resolutions.

Client is a publicly-traded manufacturer looking to add to its Internal Audit Department.
Description
- Contributes to the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 testing and various compliance-related procedures and initiatives.
- Supports the execution of operational and financial audits across company business units and support departments.
- Compiles and maintains detailed documentation to substantiate audit work performed.
- Prepares initial audit findings and recommendations, validating them with internal audit and business leadership.
- Tracks and ensures resolution of issues identified during audits through to completion.
- Analyzes business risks to help strengthen internal controls, optimize processes, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Aids in designing and refining a comprehensive audit program for designated areas.
- Provides assistance on special projects, investigations, and general administrative tasks as needed.
Profile
- Holds a B.A. or B.S. in accounting from a four-year institution, or possesses equivalent experience/training.
- Has two or more years of internal or external audit experience, preferably with large public companies.
- CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Performs audits in alignment with established professional auditing standards.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and consistently delivers accurate work.
- Utilizes advanced auditing and analytical skills to support audit activities.
- Holds in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with the ability to effectively apply them in practice.
- Shows strong decision-making skills and reliably follows through on tasks.
- Capable of preparing clear, professional reports and business correspondence, and presenting complex information to management.
- Strong leadership qualities and proven ability to collaborate within a team setting.
