Collateral Management Business Analyst
Business Analyst role focused on collateral management and Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) for a broker-dealer back office, providing business analysis, technical support, and process optimization across multiple asset classes to enhance risk management and operational efficiency.

Description
- Analyze and document collateral management workflows across multiple asset classes to ensure accurate risk mitigation and operational efficiency.
- Support margin call and collateral valuation processes, including mark-to-market checks and escalation procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize collateral usage, streamline tri-party agreements, and improve operational workflows through automation.
- Provide technical support for collateral management systems, troubleshooting trade capture errors and system discrepancies.
- Develop business requirements and maintain detailed documentation, including workflow diagrams, system configurations, and technical specifications for TLM solutions.
Profile
- Experience: Minimum 6-8 years in business analysis within financial services, with strong exposure to collateral management and Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in collateral management systems (e.g., SmartStream TLM), SQL for data analysis, and familiarity with trade lifecycle and market data systems.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of collateral processes, counterparty risk mitigation, margin calculations, and regulatory frameworks (Dodd-Frank, EMIR, Basel III).
