Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will asisst the operations team in executing and influencing large commercial projects. They will be given the tools to succeed and autonomy to learn.

With their headquarters in Columbus, they do $200M+ in revenue and have a team of 100+ people. They specialize in Higher Education, K-12, Healthcare, Residential, Correctional, Government, and Sprots Centers. Not to mention, their self-perform division. Description

• Assure all projects are built to drawings and specification
• Handle the distribution and coordination of all RFIs, Submittals and Change Orders
• Assure all materials orders are executed
• Daily project paperwork
• Maintaining schedule and meet deadlines
• Maintain workflow and strong relations with subs
• Maintain and organize field documents ( Drawings, specifications, etc )
• Coordinate subcontractors
• Partake and actively participate in company training sessions
• Assure site superintendents maintain clean and safe sites

Profile

• Degree in Construction Management or related degree
• 1+ year of General Contracting experience
• Experienced in occupied space projects a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Desire and willingness to learn, grow, and take on more responsibility
