Description

• Project Planning: Define scope, budget, timeline, and conduct feasibility studies.
• Cost Estimation: Prepare and update cost estimates, analyze bids and quotes.
• Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternatives.
• Scheduling: Develop preconstruction schedules and coordinate with project teams.
• Contract Management: Assist in contract preparation and negotiation.
• Permitting: Oversee the permitting process and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Design Review: Ensure design documents meet project specifications.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients and provide updates.
• Risk Management: Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Documentation: Maintain records and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Profile

• 7+ years experience with a general contractor in an estimating or preconstruction role
• 4 year Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field of study desired
• Must have an outstanding business acumen and professional demeanor to manage client relationships
• Construction software proficiency
• Leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
