Fundraising & Development Executive
The Fundraising & Development Executive will lead strategic fundraising, sponsorship and giving initiatives to secure funding and foster relationships with key stakeholders in the philanthropic and media/ arts industry. This role requires expertise in fundraising strategies, donor relations, and development operations, preferably in the arts/ media or other relevant cultural institution setting in the Not-for-Profit space.

Description
The Fundraising & Development Executive will be responsible for:
- Help plan and execute a fundraising and development strategy for the non-profit organization that will contribute towards raising $10 million in annual donations.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to help the organization meet their annual fundraising revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new funding opportunities, including grants and corporate partnerships.
- Work with the marketing department to oversee the creation of marketing and communication materials to support fundraising efforts.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on the latest fundraising trends, developing procedures and processes accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align development initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns and recommend improvements.
- Prepare detailed reports on fundraising performance for senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines in fundraising practices.
Based on-site daily, candidates must be able to commute daily to the Midtown, NYC office. Candidates must US work authorization now/ indefinitely without requiring work sponsorship.

Profile
The successful Fundraising & Development Executive should have:
- A strong background in non-profit fundraising, donor relations, and charitable development preferably within the charitable/ arts, media or museum/ cultural destination space.
- Skilled in leveraging established lists of existing donors in order to identify, cultivate and build new philanthropic sponsors.
- Experience in leading fundraising initiatives, membership, foundation, corporate and government grants, gala events, sponsorship and major gifts.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain donor and sponsorship relationships.
- Maintained pipelines of prospective donors, managing communications, relations and ongoing engagement.
- Exceptional strategic, delivery, communication and presentation skills.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving organizational goals.
- Highly organized, efficient and communicative approach.
- Knowledge of Not-for-Profit operations, regulations and best practice.
- Demonstrable track record in consistently meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
