Description
Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established safety standards
- Ensure all required documentation is properly filed
- Assist in the creation and management of project budgets for assigned projects
- Develop pre-construction RFP packages
- Support the facilitation of project meetings, milestone setting, and the preparation of monthly owner reports
- Establish job processes including RFIs, submittals, and pay applications, as well as approve pay applications and negotiate subcontract change orders
- Update project schedules, oversee project quality control, and manage overall project logistics
- Aid in the project closeout process
- Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the project lifecycle
Profile
- High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business from an accredited university is strongly preferred
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, with experience at a commercial general contractor preferred
- Previous experience on commercial job sites is highly desirable
- A strong passion for construction and the industry, with the ability to identify and seek high-quality work
- Proficiency in sector/project-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edward
