Maintenance and Engineering Manager
As the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our meat processing facility. You will be responsible for developing and implementing sanitation protocols, training and supervising sanitation staff, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Description
- Oversee and manage all maintenance activities in our food manufacturing facility, ensuring optimal performance of machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Ensure compliance with all FDA regulations and standards, maintaining a safe and sanitary production environment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and other departments to address maintenance-related issues and support overall operational efficiency.
- Manage the maintenance budget, including cost control and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.
- Must have technical experience with equipment including boilers, liquid fillers, pouching machines, cappers, and case packers.
- Must have experience building out a maintenance program.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Maintenance Manager in the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Bilingual Spanish is a strong desire
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and other relevant tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
