AVP Treasury Auditor
The AVP Treasury Auditor will assess the effectiveness of the firm's treasury-related controls, processes, and risk management practices. This role would offer visibility with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function.

Our client is a Financial Services firm.
Description
- Lead and execute audits across a range of Treasury functions, including liquidity management, capital adequacy, interest rate risk, asset-liability management and funding operations.
- Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of treasury-related risks and emerging regulatory expectations (e.g., FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, Resolution Planning).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify control gaps, provide recommendations, and track the implementation of remediation actions.
- Prepare high-quality audit workpapers and reporting that clearly document audit findings, root causes, and risk impacts.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; advanced degree would be a plus.
- 3-6 years of Internal Audit experience
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or FRM are preferred but not required.
