AVP Treasury Auditor

The AVP Treasury Auditor will assess the effectiveness of the firm's treasury-related controls, processes, and risk management practices. This role would offer visibility with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the audit function.

Description

• Lead and execute audits across a range of Treasury functions, including liquidity management, capital adequacy, interest rate risk, asset-liability management and funding operations.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of treasury-related risks and emerging regulatory expectations (e.g., FR 2052a, LCR, NSFR, Resolution Planning).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify control gaps, provide recommendations, and track the implementation of remediation actions.
• Prepare high-quality audit workpapers and reporting that clearly document audit findings, root causes, and risk impacts.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; advanced degree would be a plus.
• 3-6 years of Internal Audit experience
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or FRM are preferred but not required.
