Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction
The Senior Project Manager will lead large-scale construction projects from preconstruction to closeout, ensuring budget, schedule, and quality goals are met. This role oversees client relations, contract negotiations, and team performance, while mentoring staff and driving process improvements across the organization. You will have the ability to mentor and train employees, grow your team, pursue projects, and eventually grow into a executive role.

Description
The Senior PM will:
- Lead full lifecycle delivery of commercial, industrial, and education projects ranging from $30M+
- Work directly with leadership to continuing scaling and growing the Indy office
- Drive project strategy, budgets, schedules, quality, and risk control
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, design partners, and stakeholders
- Provide leadership and mentorship to PMs, APMs, and field teams
- Oversee all project documentation and workflow in Procore including contracts, COs, RFIs, submittals, and schedules
- Negotiate subcontractor agreements and strengthen trade partner relationships
- Partner with preconstruction to align scope, estimates, and project planning
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and operational standards
- Lead project meetings, maintain stakeholder alignment, and deliver executive reporting
- Promote continuous improvement across project execution, team performance, and client satisfaction
Profile
A successful Senior PM should have:
- 7+ years of progressive experience in commercial, industrial, or education construction project management
- Demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale or technically complex projects
- Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera)
- Strong financial acumen, contract knowledge, and negotiation skills
- Proven leadership, communication, and team development abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-level client relationships
