My client specializes in providing advanced injection molding machines and automation solutions for a wide range of industries. The focus is on delivering innovative, high-performance equipment designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
Description
In this role you will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Overseeing the testing, installation, and servicing of custom injection molding machinery and automation systems.
- Collaborating with customers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of specialized equipment.
- Conducting on-site inspections and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Developing and executing test plans to verify equipment functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Providing technical training and support to customers for proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
- Traveling to customer locations as needed (10-20%) to perform installations and address technical concerns.
- Reporting progress, challenges, and recommendations directly to the Engineering Manager.
- Staying updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance equipment performance and service offerings.
Profile
A successful candidate will have:
- 3-5+ years of automation controls experience in a Manufacturing environment
- PLC programming experience, Allen-Bradley preferred
- HMI programming experience, SCADA preferred
- FANUC robot programming knowledge
- Safety controller familiarity
- Experience designing electrical schematics and panel layouts for systems
