Senior Project Manager - Interiors Construction - Chicago

$140,000 - $170,000/Year

This contractor located in Chicago IL has a strong reputation. They are an established General Contractor that does work all over Illinois and need to bring on more Project Managers who have experience in the space. The Senior Project Manager for this firm would primarily focus on their interiors sector.

Client Details

My client desires hard-working individuals who can be mentored and develop with senior level growth in mind. Experience with Interiors. They offer a wide range of construction planning and management services and are always committed to understanding their clients' needs. Intertiors experience is a requirement.

Description

This Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing scheduling, budgets, documentation, etc. of project from beginning to end
  • Ability to lead a team by providing intentional and proactive leadership within the safety culture on site
  • Oversee the management of successful construction projects
  • Preparing reports on construction progress and cost for clients
  • Be client-facing and maintain the client relationship
  • Negotiate, award, and administer all subcontractors, purchase orders, and change orders on construction projects
  • Travel to job site 1-2 days a week

Profile

  • 10 - 15 years of previous experience working with a General Contractor
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field
  • Experience in Interiors is a must
  • Experience working with software and technology
  • Strong Communication and Organization Skills
  • Time Management Skills
  • Up to date on the Construction Market and the newest technology
