Project Engineer/Manager - Precision Plastics - Naugatuck, CT
The Project Manager / Project Engineer oversees customer projects from start to finish, coordinating internal teams to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with industry standards. The role also drives continuous improvement, reviews tooling and mold designs, and supports cross-functional collaboration across engineering, production, and quality.

Description
This Project Engineer/Manager will:
- Manage projects from inception through production, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Communicate with customers and internal teams on project status and requirements
- Review tooling, molds, and fixtures; conduct DFM evaluations
- Coordinate qualification projects with Quality Assurance
- Support continuous improvement and process enhancements
Profile
A successful Project Engineer/Manager will have:
- Experience in project management within manufacturing or engineering environments
- Knowledge in precision injection molding and medical device processes a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Able to collaborate effectively across engineering, production, and quality teams
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
